The Pendergraft Rugby Tournament brings players, coaches, referees, families, clubs, and supporters together for a competitive, safe, organized, and welcoming day of rugby.
More than a competition, A Day of Rugby is an opportunity to strengthen relationships between clubs, develop players at different levels, and celebrate the values that unite the rugby community in Mexico.
The 6th Annual tournament is part of the LEGACY SERIES and is guided by the value of DISCIPLINE: the preparation, consistency, responsibility, and commitment that transform daily choices into results on and off the field.

The 6th Annual tournament is held in remembrance of Leonardo González Campos and also recognizes members of the Mexican rugby community we have lost during the past year. We honor them by continuing to play, strengthening our rugby family, and creating opportunities for those who follow.
2026 DIVISIONS
MEN'S 10s
A fast, physical 10-a-side format built around teamwork, discipline, skill, and competitive rugby.
WOMEN'S 10s
A competitive 10-a-side format that creates space, involvement, and opportunities for every player to make an impact.
M19 BOYS 7s
A dynamic 7-a-side competition designed to build experience, decision-making, development, and confidence.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
FORM 1 — INITIAL REGISTRATION
- Confirm interest in participating.
- Select the appropriate division.
- Provide an estimated number of players.
- Provide team representative contact information.
- A final roster is not required at this stage.
- Helps identify incomplete teams, partial groups, or individual players who may be able to connect with another participating team.
Completing Form 1 does not guarantee placement for partial groups or individual players.
FORM 2 — FINAL INFORMATION
- Final player roster.
- Coaches.
- Guests.
- Tournament shirt sizes.
- Final team information and confirmations.
Form 2 will be sent later to registered teams.
Team payment: player fees are submitted as one payment per team; individual player payments are not used.

REFEREE CLINIC

As part of SMA Rugby Club's commitment to developing the game, we will offer a referee clinic one day before the Pendergraft Tournament. It is intended for players, coaches, and members of the rugby community who want to learn and strengthen their refereeing knowledge.
The clinic is part of the club's ongoing work to develop referees, match officials, and greater practical confidence around the game.
